DUBUQUE, Iowa — Alex Troy Ellsbury, 31, of Dubuque, was arrested Saturday evening on multiple domestic-related charges, according to Dubuque police.

Ellsbury was taken into custody at 10:26 p.m. Aug. 22, 2026, at 1315 Associates Drive. He faces three charges:

1.  False Imprisonment (misdemeanor)

2.  Domestic Abuse Assault – Impeding Air/Blood Flow Causing Bodily Injury (felony)

3.  Domestic Abuse Assault – Simple (misdemeanor)

Officer C. Vaske made the arrest. Ellsbury was held on a $1,000 cash bond and is awaiting a court appearance.
