Road Closure Planned on E. Elm Street in Lancaster for Aug. 27
LANCASTER, Wis. — The Grant County Sheriff’s Office is alerting drivers to a temporary road closure on East Elm Street next Thursday.
E. Elm Street will be closed from Roosevelt Street to Highway 129 on Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
According to the sheriff’s office announcement, industrial park traffic should use Elm Street west of the closure for entrance and exit, or use Lincoln Road as an alternate route. Myers Heating & Cooling traffic will be allowed to enter and exit via Highway 129.
The closure map shared by the department shows the affected stretch of E. Elm Street marked in red between the two endpoints, with clear detour guidance for local businesses and industrial park users in the area.
