Fairgoers can look forward to a high-octane, sunny Sunday as the 73rd Annual Dubuque County Fair wraps up tomorrow with Race Day & Demo Day at the fairgrounds.

The free Demolition Derby takes center stage at 11am. on the track, promising crashing cars, flying debris, and last-car-standing competition. Sponsored by Dunkel Auto Salvage and McDermott Excavating, the derby is free with fair admission and remains one of the weekend’s biggest draws.

Under sunny skies, visitors can also enjoy a full lineup of activities throughout the day. Grounds open at 8 a.m. with the Foam and Bubble Show, followed by live performances including Lasting Impressions and Grace Good. The Open Class Beef Show begins at 11:30 a.m. in the Show Barn, while Bingo runs from 1 to 5 p.m. Additional fun includes a Lego “Day at the Races” activity, carnival rides, delicious fair food, livestock exhibits, contests, and other family-friendly entertainment.

The Demolition Derby highlights a traditional mix of fair excitement and high-impact action that draws competitors and crowds year after year. Organizers expect strong turnout for the final day of the fair.
