Dubuque, Iowa – Edward Calpriest Collins, 27, was arrested Saturday afternoon in Dubuque and charged with one felony and one misdemeanor offense.

Collins, described as a Black male, 27 years old, was taken into custody at approximately 2:54 p.m. on July 11, 2026, at 300 S. Locust Street.

According to arrest records, he faces the following charges:

•  Enticing a Minor Under 16 – Sexual Purpose (Felony)

•  Possession of a Controlled Substance – Marijuana, 1st Offense (Misdemeanor)

A $6,000 cash bond was set by D. Brant.

Collins is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Court records indicate he will have an initial appearance in the coming days.
