The Dubuque Memorial Day Parade is scheduled for Monday, May 25, 2026. Tri-State Women Warriors, The Veterans Freedom Center, Dubuque County Veteran Services, and American Legion are organizing the parade. The Memorial Day Parade will begin at noon on Chaplain Schmitt Island at the Q Casino’s western-most parking area. The parade route will proceed east on Greyhound Park Dr. to Admiral Sheehy Drive, where it will go beneath the bridge underpass, winding around to the McAleece Sports Complex, before finishing at Veterans Memorial Plaza. A ceremony will take place at the plaza shortly after the parade ends.

Please note that delays are possible in this area during the parade. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area during the parade’s scheduled time (start time is noon) and parking may be limited in this area due to other events/activities taking place on the Island.
