DUBUQUE, Iowa — A 33-year-old Dubuque man was arrested Sunday night on multiple charges following an incident at West 15th Street and Iowa Street.

Demetrius Lewis Woods-Mckissick a male, 33,was taken into custody at approximately 10:11 p.m. on April 19, 2026, at 99 W 15th St/Iowa St.

He faces the following charges:

•  Child Endangerment Causing Bodily Injury (Felony)

•  Domestic Abuse Assault — Simple (Misdemeanor)

•  Burglary 1st Degree — Burglary/Breaking and Entering (Felony)

Bond was set at $25,000 by J. Vauthier.

The charges stem from an alleged domestic disturbance involving a child, with authorities determining that a minor sustained or was placed at risk of bodily injury. The burglary charge indicates unauthorized entry into a dwelling. No further details on victims, injuries, or circumstances have been released by police.

Woods-Mckissick is presumed innocent until proven guilty. The case will proceed through Dubuque County court.
