DUBUQUE, IA 

A local man is in custody following a series of traffic-related offenses on Tuesday evening in Dubuque.

At approximately 8:10 PM on April 7, 2026, officers with the Dubuque Police Department arrested Dylan James Bargman, 31, near the intersection of 701 Berkley Place and Primrose Street.

According to arrest records, the incident began when Bargman allegedly attempted to evade law enforcement. The pursuit concluded without reported injuries, leading to Bargman being taken into custody on multiple charges.

Charges Filed

Bargman faces a total of five misdemeanor charges related to the incident:

• Eluding

• Reckless Driving

• Driving Under Suspension

• Failure to Obey Stop or Yield Sign

• Careless Driving

The arresting officer was identified as Officer S. J. Nauman. Bargman was transported to the local detention center 

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
