DUBUQUE COUNTY, Iowa — Starting Monday, June 16, 2025, at 7:00 AM, Bennettville Rd will be closed for a bridge replacement project, according to Dubuque County officials. The construction will span 0.85 miles, from Higginsport Rd to Hartman Rd, with the road fully closed at the bridge location for the duration of the work.
The project involves the removal and replacement of the existing bridge. County authorities estimate the work will take 15 to 18 weeks, depending on weather conditions. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes during this period, as no through traffic will be permitted in the work zone.
