Dubuque, IA – In the early hours of October 31, 2024, Dubuque police arrested 35-year-old Kiara Rose Kiesow at 801 Kerper Court. Kiesow faces several charges, including second-degree theft (motor vehicle theft), eluding law enforcement, and an out-of-state warrant.

The arrest occurred at approximately 12:52 AM after officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle. Upon arrival, they identified Kiesow as the suspect and attempted to apprehend her. Kiesow allegedly tried to flee the scene, leading to a brief pursuit before she was taken into custody without further incident.

Kiesow is charged with second-degree theft, a felony, for the motor vehicle theft. Additionally, she faces a misdemeanor charge for eluding law enforcement and another misdemeanor for an outstanding warrant from out of state.

She is currently being held at the Dubuque County Jail on a $ 10,000 cash bond
