Emergency personnel were promptly called to the scene, and school staff, along with bystanders, provided immediate assistance until emergency services arrived.

According to the Dubuque Police Department, the student sustained minor injuries and is expected to recover fully. The quick response from school staff and community members played a crucial role in ensuring the student’s safety.
