Dubuque, IA – October 16, 2024 – Robert Michael McClain, a 55-year-old resident of Dubuque, was arrested at 400 Central Ave. McClain faces charges of Dominion/Control of a Firearm/Offensive Weapon by a Felon, a felony, and Public Intoxication, a misdemeanor. The arrest took place at approximately 5:53 PM.

According to the Dubuque Police Department, McClain, born on September 23, 1969, was initially sought on a warrant for Public Intoxication (DPD case number 2024-006943). During the investigation, credible information was received indicating that McClain was in possession of a firearm. Officers located and stopped his vehicle near 4th and Central, where he was arrested without incident.
