“Romell Enoch has been found guilty of first-degree murder for the death of Kylie Duster, Monday.

On July 25th, 2021, Duster’s absence from social media raised concerns. Her cousin reported to the Dubuque Police that Kylie’s BMW was unusually clean, deviating from its typically untidy condition. On July 28th, police conducted a welfare check at Duster’s West 11th Street apartment. They discovered her body concealed in a closet with a cloth lodged in her mouth, and an autopsy confirmed suffocation as the cause of death.

Enoch, who had taken Duster’s vehicle, was apprehended by the Dubuque Police while driving the BMW, which had been repainted in an attempt to evade detection.
