Grant County Wisconsin – One Vehicle Roll Over On December 28, 2023, at approximately 9:07 a.m. the Grant County Sheriff’s Office investigated a report of a one-vehicle roll-over crash on Hwy 61 near Hickory Ln located in the Township of Paris just outside the Village of Dickeyville.

Melbria Heard, age 32 from Moline, IL, was traveling southbound on Hwy 61 in her 2002 Chevy Avalanche. Due to the snow-covered roadway, Heard lost control of her vehicle and left the roadway on the right (west) side of the road. The vehicle rolled once while striking the Dickeyville Population sign. Heard sustained minor injuries in the crash but was not transported by EMS. Heard was wearing her seatbelt. It was discovered that Heard did not have insurance on the vehicle and was cited accordingly.

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Dickeyville Fire and EMS, Dickeyville Police, and Donnie’s Tire and Tow of Dickeyville.
