On October 14, 2023 at 5:55 PM a motorcycle crash was reported on Hwy 133 west of Clauer Lane.

Matthew Milligan, 39, of Dubuque, Iowa, was driving east on Hwy 133 on his 2005 Buell motorcycle. While navigating curves on a downhill grade, Milligan was forced to swerve due to an oncoming vehicle. The cyclist swerved back into his lane of traffic and struck the guardrail, causing him to be thrown from the cycle. Milligan was transported by Air Care due to his injuries.

Bennett’s Towing removed Milligan’s motorcycle after it suffered heavy damage. Assisting at the scene were the Potosi Fire Department and Potosi EMS.
