43-year-old Anselmo Pena is being held on a $10,000 bond charged with willful- injury-causing serious injury.

Saturday afternoon, at approximately 3:30 pm, authorities received a distress call regarding a disturbance in the 1900 block of Central Avenue. Responding quickly, the police arrived at the scene to find 56-year-old Ricky Hob in need of immediate medical attention.

A Dubuque was airlifted to University Hospitals in Iowa City with serious injuries after being struck by Pena wielding a metal chair.
