Dubuque Police attempted to stop a vehicle driven by Corey Robertson, 18, of Hannover Illinois. He was stopped for having a tail light out on his vehicle and driving recklessly near 11th Street. 

An Officer signaled with his emergency lights for Robertson to stop. Robertson turned down 11th Street traveling at high speed, then down Locust Street throughout the city. The vehicle was stopped by spike strips and disabled at the South Grandview westbound off-ramp to Dodge Street and US HWY 20.

Robertson faces criminal charges for 1) OWI 1st Offense (M) and 2) Eluding – Speeding over 25 over the limit. He traveled at speeds of 70 mph to 80 mph.
