It’s the countdown to this year’s 4th of July celebrations.
On July 3rd, there will be a Radio Dubuque And Dubuque Jaycees Fireworks And Air Show in Dubuque’s Point End District at Ay McDonald Park & Boat Ramp 1200 Hawthorne Street, overlooking the mighty Mississippi River on July 3rd, 3:30 PM to 10:00 PM. Parking is $20 per vehicle. Proceeds from parking help support the cost of the event.

The Golden Knights return in 2023

The Golden Knights will again jump into the Nativity lot next to Radio Dubuque on Sunday, July 2nd at 11am. Then Back to the Kennedy Mall for a Golden Knights jump Sunday, July 2nd at 7pm
The Golden Knights will jump 2 times during the July 3rd Air Show and Fireworks celebration at A.Y. McDonald Park!

The Mathias Ham Historic Site is celebrating Independence Day this year with the Audrey Hammer 4th of July Ice Cream Social, and guests are invited to attend the celebration from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4th.
Visitors can enjoy live music by The Americana Band and purchase picnic foods, cakes, and ice cream. Victorian games will be held in the yard for children including sack races, horse shoes, graces, and more. Crafts will also take place as well throughout the day. SuperHits 106.1 will also be onsite for a live radio broadcast.
Free tours of the historic Ham House, the Humke One-Room Schoolhouse, the replica lead mine, and the Arriandeaux Log House will be happening, with live demonstrations and thunderous cannon fire adding to the experience of Independence Day.
Donations of $5 are kindly requested for home tours and all proceeds will benefit the Mathias Ham Historic Site, a property of the Dubuque County Historical Society. All proceeds benefit the Jeffris Family Foundation Challenge match to restore and preserve the interior of the Mathias Ham House.
