Iowa Health Inspectors recently conducted health inspections in Iowa and our area and found numerous of violations. We looked at restaurants and establishments in our area and found violations.

What do health inspectors look for? Factors such as good work hygiene, correct holding and storing temperatures for food, and making sure food comes from approved sources are all critical for public health. These violations should be corrected immediately if possible, but no longer than ten days.
