Today Bed Bath and Beyond announced it will liquidate 56 stores in the upper Midwest, New York and New Jersey, as part of a reorganization strategy to improve its retail stores making them more inviting. They’re looking to cut 20% of their workforce, to cut business costs, to gain customers and national brands. The retailer has also received a new line of credit totaling $500 million dollars.

Among the Iowa stores to close include Dubuque and Waterloo Iowa.
