On April 26, 2022, at approximately 4:18 am, the Jo Daviess County Sheriffs Office received information from the Lafayette County Sheriffs Office of a property damage accident on N. Elizabeth Seales Mound Rd near County Rd. O. Upon arrival Deputies learned that the accident involved injuries requiring Cassandra L. Edge 36, of Plattville Wisconsin, to be transported from the scene to a local hospital.

Tammy S. Stanton 52, of Cuba City Wisconsin, refused medical and was arrested on a Jo Daviess County warrant then transported to the Jo Daviess County Jail. Stanton and Edge claimed that an unknown male subject was driving the vehicle at the time of the accident and fled the scene immediately following the accident. A Jo Daviess County K9 was called
to the scene to locate the missing driver. At this time, the driver of the vehicle has not been located or identified. In a later
interview with Cassandra L. Edge on April 30th she was informed she was being arrested for Unlawful Posession of Methamphetamine, Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession Hypodermie Syringe, and Unlawful Possession Drug Paraphernalia at which time she resisted arrest and was charged with resisting a Peace Officer.

This accident remains under investigation; all parties involved are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Investigating Agency
