Dubuque Fire Units Responded to a report of a mobile home fire in Table Mound Park II in the 2700 block of Montrose Drive around noon today. Upon arrival, the fire unit spotted smoke coming from a back bedroom window, after further investigation, they found a mattress on fire that was quickly extinguished and removed from the home. No one was hurt.
“A fire captain on scene said a candle was the cause of the fire.”
Due to the quick response, the home was saved.
