Dakota Vandermillen 26, faces charges of first-degree burglary, second-degree burglary, assault on persons in certain occupations, operating while intoxicated and possession of marijuana.

Vandermillen struck a vehicle near Lincoln Ave. Thursday. The driver then got out to check and Vandermillen punched him in the face, then fled the area.

A woman called dispatch that had a similar incident with Vandermillen yelling at her, attempting to hit her car near 29th Street. The woman pulled over and Vandermillen reached in the car taking her Keys. Dubuque police recovered her keys at the time of the arrest.

While in custody Vandermillen complained of Pain was taken to Finley Hospital were he spit on a nurse.

At time of arrest Police smelled a strong order of marijuana and a baggie in his front pocket in plain sight.
