A county officer attempted to pull over a wanted subject on North Cascade Road, and a pursuit took place with Dubuque County Deputies chasing him on Dodge Street Monday. Then the suspect traveling at speeds up to 100 mph took the Grandview off ramp, hitting an embankment, sending the vehicle into a pole and tree on Fremont Street.

Demerits Ross of Wisconsin, was the driver wanted on a warrant. Dubuque Fire transported him and a passenger to Dubuque Hospitals for injuries. Ross arrested at the scene, has charges forthcoming.
