4. Do not use cryptocurrency, gift cards, cash, or wire transfers for security deposits. These are nearly untraceable once they leave your hands.
5. Trust your gut. If the person is using high-pressure, trying to quickly make you decides, has a sever sense of urgency or is unwilling to meet in person, walk away. The price being too good to be true is another indicator that you may be getting scammed.
