Jermy Allen Brady, 28, of Dubuque, was arrested early Monday morning on felony and misdemeanor charges stemming from an alleged incident in the city.

According to Dubuque County Sheriff’s Department records, Brady was taken into custody at approximately 6:00 a.m. on Sept. 21, 2026, at 770 Iowa St., Dubuque. He faces the following charges:

•  Sexual Abuse in the Third Degree – Forcible Fondling (felony)

•  Assault with Intent to Commit Sexual Abuse – Bodily Injury (felony)

•  Invasion of Privacy (misdemeanor)

Court records show a criminal complaint was filed on Sept. 11, 2026. An order to issue a warrant was entered Sept. 15, followed by the arrest warrant the same day. The warrant was served on Sept. 21.

Brady made an initial appearance the same day. Judge Mark T. Hostager ordered him held without bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 30, 2026, at 10:50 a.m. in courtroom 3106.

Additional filings on Sept. 21 include a no-contact order, an order for discovery, a pre-trial release evaluation, an appearance by attorney Joshua Ryan Sims, and applications for counsel/financial statements submitted by the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Department.
