Just after 3 a.m., a Delaware County deputy on patrol discovered the wreck in the 2900 block of Goose Hill Road. Investigators determined the vehicle left the roadway, entered a ditch, and collided with a tree. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities said the driver’s identity will be released once next of kin have been notified.
