DUBUQUE, Iowa — Simon Ntitetereza, 20, was arrested Friday afternoon on a felony charge of pretrial supervision violation.

According to arrest records, Ntitetereza was taken into custody at 3:38 p.m. Sept. 18, 2026, at 745 Main St. in Dubuque by Officer J.D. Stair.

The arrest stems from an alleged violation of the conditions of his pretrial release in the case State of Iowa v. Simon Ntitetereza, case number 01311 FECR163892 in Dubuque County.

Court records show a pretrial violation report was filed, followed by an order on Sept. 11, 2026, by Judge Thomas A. Bitter directing issuance of a public/bench warrant. A subsequent order for continuance was entered Sept. 14, 2026, by Judge Monica L. Zrinyi Ackley. A pretrial conference is scheduled for 3 p.m. Sept. 21, 2026, in Courtroom 3103, with a jury trial set for 9:30 a.m. Sept. 29, 2026, in Courtroom 3102.

Ntitetereza faces the following underlying charges from an April 8, 2026, incident:

•  Count 1: Robbery in the First Degree, a Class B felony

•  Count 2: Going Armed with Intent, a Class D felony

•  Count 3: Assault While Displaying a Dangerous Weapon, an aggravated misdemeanor
