Local road crews are performing culvert replacement work Monday on a stretch of Boy Scout Road, with the roadway remaining open to traffic throughout the project.

The construction is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, August 31, 2026, along Boy Scout Road between Five Points Road and Paradise Valley Road. The affected segment measures approximately 1.9 miles.

Officials note the project is designated “Road OPEN,” meaning motorists can continue using the route during the work window. Drivers should expect possible temporary delays, reduced speeds, or the presence of construction equipment and personnel in the area.

Motorists traveling through the corridor are advised to use caution, watch for workers and vehicles, and allow extra time if passing through during the morning hours. No full closures are planned for this phase of the work.

The culvert replacement is part of ongoing infrastructure maintenance aimed at improving drainage and road durability in the area. Further updates will be issued if the schedule or traffic conditions change.
