Motorists should prepare for extended disruptions on Oakland Farms Road beginning Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 7:00 a.m., as crews begin a major culvert replacement project.

The work involves the complete removal and replacement of four large culverts along a 2.4-mile stretch of Oakland Farms Road between Whitetop Road and Military Road. The road will be fully closed at each culvert location while work is underway.

Officials estimate the entire project will take 7 to 9 weeks, depending on weather conditions, with approximately two weeks of work planned at each of the four sites.
