DUBUQUE, Iowa — A 33-year-old Dubuque man was arrested Thursday afternoon on a felony theft charge stemming from an alleged shoplifting incident.

Michael Richard Brown,was taken into custody at 4:49 p.m. on Aug. 27, 2026, at 620 Iowa St. on a charge of Theft in the Second Degree – Shoplifting, a felony, according to arrest records (AR 2026005813).

The arresting officer was identified as T. McDonald. Brown’s total bond was set at $5,000
