
DUBUQUE, Iowa — A 45-year-old Dubuque man was arrested Monday morning on a felony probation violation charge, according to jail records.
Jesse Lee Harvey, a white male, was taken into custody at 9:46 a.m. July 27, 2026, at 770 Iowa St. in Dubuque by Officer K.D. Patterson. He faces a charge of probation violation (felony).
Court records show Harvey was sentenced May 20, 2026, in Dubuque County case 01311 FECR162365 after pleading guilty to multiple charges stemming from an incident on Dec. 5, 2025.
Those charges included:
• Domestic abuse assault impeding air/blood flow causing bodily injury, a Class D felony
• Harassment in the first degree, an aggravated misdemeanor
• Domestic abuse assault causing injury or mental illness (first offense), a serious misdemeanor
Judge Monica L. Zrinyi Ackley imposed a combination of prison terms that were largely suspended, probation, residential facility placement, fines (also largely suspended), DNA requirements, and batterer’s education programming. Portions of the sentences were ordered consecutive.
The new probation violation charge is listed under Iowa Code 908.11 with an offense date of July 27, 2026. No further details on the alleged violation were immediately available in the public records reviewed.
