DUBUQUE, Iowa — Landon Robert Block, 18, of Dubuque, was arrested Friday afternoon on felony charges of continuous sexual abuse of a child, forcible fondling, and fourth-degree sexual abuse.
Block was taken into custody around 1:08 p.m. on July 24, 2026, at 770 Iowa St. by the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office. He faces three felony counts:
• Sexual Abuse – Continuous Sex Abuse of a Child – Forcible Rape
• Lascivious Acts with a Child – Forcible Fondling
• Sexual Abuse 4th Degree – Health Care Professionals
The charges stem from criminal complaints filed earlier in July. A warrant for Block’s arrest was issued on July 17 and served on Friday. He is being held without bond pending court proceedings.
Authorities have not released additional details about the alleged victim or the circumstances of the case. Block is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
