Construction – Road Closed

Dubuque County announces a temporary road closure on Whitetop Road for a culvert replacement project.

Details

•  Start: Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 8:45 a.m.

•  Road: Whitetop Road

•  Affected Segment: Whitetop Road from North Cascade Road to Oakland Farms Road (approximately 0.62 miles)

•  Work Zone: Complete closure at the culvert repair site, located roughly 500 feet north of Oakland Farms Road

The road will be fully closed at the work location while crews complete the culvert repairs. The project is expected to last approximately one day, weather permitting.

Motorists should plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time. Please drive cautiously in the vicinity and obey all construction signage and flaggers.
