City of Dubuque Offices Closed, Services Adjusted for Independence Day

City of Dubuque offices will be closed on Friday, July 3, for the observance of Independence Day. The closure includes City Hall and most other City facilities.

There will be no change to the schedule of curbside collections for trash, recycling, and organics. Friday routes will be collected as normal on Friday, July 3. All Dubuque Metropolitan Area Solid Waste Agency facilities will be closed on Saturday, July 4.

The Carnegie-Stout Public Library will be closed on both Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4.

The Multicultural Family Center will also be closed on both Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4.

The Jule Public Transportation will not operate on Independence Day. The Intermodal Transportation Center will be closed both Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4. Parking meter expiration violations will not be enforced on Independence Day.

Bunker Hill Golf Course will be open and hosting special events during the week of Independence Day; please call 563-589-4261 for details.

Both Flora and Sutton Pools will be open on Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4, but will operate on a reduced schedule on Friday, July 3. There will be no afternoon open swim at Sutton Pool and no evening open swim at either facility that day.

The City of Dubuque Parks & Recreation Department’s playground programs will not operate on Friday, July 3.
