•  Expect heavy congestion on Kerper Blvd. and surrounding roads. Some ramps and lanes are affected by construction (e.g., southbound U.S. 61/151 on-ramp closures and detours).

•  Vehicles in official lots are generally held for about 30 minutes after the fireworks end to allow safe pedestrian exit.

•  Alternative viewing from nearby areas is possible if the main site fills. Handicap-accessible parking may be limited; shuttles could be provided. 

Tips: Arrive early with blankets, chairs, and bug spray. Monitor weather, as Iowa summers can bring storms. No consumer fireworks are allowed in the city.
