City of Dubuque offices will be closed on Monday, May 25, for the Memorial Day holiday. This includes City Hall and other City offices and facilities.
There will be no curbside collections (trash, recycling, and organics) by City crews on Memorial Day (Monday, May 25). These collections will instead be made on Saturday, May 23. Carts and bins to be collected must be set out by 6 a.m. This change only applies to residents whose regular collection day is Monday. The Dubuque Metro Area Solid Waste Agency facilities will also be closed on Memorial Day.
The Jule, Dubuqueβs public transit system, will not operate on Memorial Day. Parking meter expiration violations will not be enforced on Memorial Day.
The Multicultural Family Center will be closed on Monday, May 25.
The Carnegie-Stout Public Library will be closed on Sunday, May 24, and Monday, May 25.
