DUBUQUE, Iowa — A 32-year-old Dubuque woman faces multiple charges after an early morning incident on Sunday, May 3, 2026.

Taylor Marie Meyer was arrested at approximately 5:46 a.m. at 3626 Keymeer Dr. on charges of:

•  Burglary 1st Degree (Burglary/Breaking and Entering, Felony)

•  Operating While Intoxicated (OWI) 1st Offense (Misdemeanor)

•  Child Endangerment (Misdemeanor)

Dubuque police responded to the address, where the arrest took place. Officer S. Bennett is listed in connection with the case.

Details about the specific circumstances of the alleged burglary, the condition of any child involved, or how the OWI charge connects to the events remain limited in initial reports. First-degree burglary in Iowa typically involves entering a dwelling or occupied structure with intent to commit a felony, assault, or theft, often carrying significant penalties. OWI charges stem from operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, while child endangerment generally involves placing a minor in a situation that could lead to harm.

Meyer is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
