
Dubuque, Iowa — A 19-year-old Dubuque woman was arrested Friday, May 1, 2026, on two felony charges involving credit card and ATM fraud.
Mckayla May Worthon ,19, was taken into custody at 6:13 a.m. at 770 Iowa St. on charges of:
1. Theft in the Second Degree – Credit Card/ATM Fraud (Class D felony)
2. Ongoing Criminal Conduct – Unlawful Activity (felony)
A cash/surety bond of $50,000 was set.
The case, State of Iowa vs. Worthon, Mckayla May, Case No. 01311 FECR163148, originated with a criminal complaint filed by the Dubuque Police Department on February 16, 2026. An arrest warrant was issued the same day by Judge Mark T. Hostager and was served on May 1, 2026. Worthon has filed an application for court-appointed counsel.
