- WHAT…Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 4
inches with the highest amounts anticipated north of I-80. - WHERE…Portions of northwest Illinois and east central,
northeast, and southeast Iowa. - WHEN…From 6 PM Saturday to 6 AM CST Sunday.
- IMPACTS…Roads will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on
slippery travel. - ADDITIONAL DETAILS…A clipper system will bring widespread light
snow to the region Saturday night. A narrow band of moderate to
heavy snow is possible but there is uncertainty on the exact
placement. Snowfall amounts over 4 inches are possible where this
band sets up, most favored to the northwest of the Quad Cities at
this time.
