220 N CLINTON ST, CUBA CITY, WI 53807

On November 22, 2025, at approximately 4:54 AM, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office received a 9-1-1 call from 220 N. Clinton Street, in the

City of Cuba City, regarding a shooting incident. The caller reported his girlfriend had been shot in the knee by another woman at the

residence. Deputies and Investigators from the Grant County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the scene.

When law enforcement arrived and determined it was safe for EMS to respond to the scene, Southwest Health EMS treated and transported a

23 year old female to Southwest Health Center in Platteville. The victim was then transferred by medical helicopter to another medical facility

for further care.

Based on the investigation by the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, Alexis Allen, 25, of Cuba City, was taken into custody and brought to the

Grant County Jail where she was booked in for Endangering Safety by Use of a Dangerous Weapon. Additional charges may be requested

after additional follow up investigation is completed.

There was no risk to the Cuba City community during this incident and this appeared to be an isolated incident. The incident remains under

investigation.

The Grant County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Southwest Health EMS.

**Persons arrested/or referred for charges by the Grant County Sheriff’s Office are presumed innocent until proven guilty by a court of law. An

arrest only indicates probable cause exists to bring formal charges.** The names of victims and witnesses to a crime have been withheld per

Wisconsin Statute §950.04
