Peosta, IA – The Dubuque County Highway Department has announced a paving project on Sundown Rd (Peosta St), set to begin on Monday, July 14, 2025, at 7:00 AM and conclude on Monday, September 8, 2025, at 5:00 PM. The construction will take place along a 1.04-mile stretch of Sundown Rd, from Old Highway Rd south to the railroad tracks.
The project aims to improve road conditions and enhance safety for motorists. Despite the construction, Sundown Rd will remain open to traffic throughout the duration of the project.
