DUBUQUE, IA – On September 4, 2025, at approximately 9:15 PM, Cein Michael Lee Palecki, a 22-year-old male, was arrested at 10396 Lake Eleanor Rd by the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Department. The arrest, executed by Deputy C.J. Winch, followed a series of alleged criminal activities, resulting in seven charges against Palecki.

According to authorities, Palecki faces two felony charges: Assault on Persons in Certain Occupations with Use/Display of a Weapon and Eluding – Speed Over 25 MPH Above the Limit. Additionally, he was charged with five misdemeanors, including Interference with Official Acts Causing Bodily Injury, Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana, 2nd Offense), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Driving While Barred, and an out-of-jurisdiction warrant.

Court documents indicate that multiple criminal complaints were filed by the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Department on September 5, 2025. Palecki also submitted an application for counsel and a financial statement, and a pre-trial release evaluation was conducted by the Department of Correctional Services in Dubuque on the same day.
