LIVINGSTON, Wis. — On August 25, 2025, at 6:20 p.m., a three-vehicle collision occurred on Hwy 80 north of Livingston in the Town of Clifton, resulting in serious injuries and significant vehicle damage, according to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies from Grant and Iowa Counties responded to the scene. The crash involved Trevor Weiland, 28, of Cassville, who was driving a 2022 Ford F250 towing an empty bale-moving trailer southbound on Hwy 80. Weiland had slowed and signaled to turn left into a field drive when the incident occurred.

Christopher Faucett, 30, of Livingston, was also traveling southbound in a 2005 Ford Taurus and failed to notice Weiland slowing down. In an attempt to avoid a collision with Weiland’s trailer, Faucett took evasive action but struck the rear of the trailer. His vehicle then crossed the centerline, colliding head-on with a northbound 2015 Kia driven by Robin Wagner, 56, of Montfort.

Both Faucett and Wagner sustained serious injuries. Montfort EMS transported them to Southwest Health Center, and Montfort Fire extricated Faucett from his heavily damaged vehicle. Both the Taurus and the Kia sustained severe damage and were towed from the scene by Haase’s Service and Towing out of Montfort.

Faucett was cited for inattentive driving and operating without insurance. The Grant County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Montfort Fire, Livingston Fire, Livingston First Responders, Iowa County Sheriff’s Office, and Haase’s Service and Towing.
