The national weather service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch until 4 am. This watch will affect the tri-state area, including areas like South Locust Street, which may experience flooding. Several other areas in Dubuque are also expected to be impacted.

If you’re in these areas, please relocate your vehicles to higher ground to prevent flooding. Additionally, remember that if the road is flooded, avoid attempting to cross it. Your safety is of utmost importance. If you have any lawn ornaments that you’d like to prevent from being blown away, it’s advisable to secure them now.
