First responders were called to the 7700 block of Bierman Road shortly after 10 p.m. to respond to a structure fire. The Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office, Epworth Fire Department, Farley Fire Department, and Centralia Fire Department arrived at the scene to find a farm building engulfed in flames.

The Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office estimated that the building sustained an estimated $450,000 in damage, along with tractors, farm equipment, and hay that were inside.

Investigators have determined that the fire appears to be unrelated to any suspicious activity.
