A trial that was to take place this week for two charged with attempted murder will take place 09/16/2025 at 09:30 AM in Dubuque District Court.
Gabriel Dominguez, a 22-year-old from Sherrill, will be arraigned on December 16 in Dubuque District Court for attempted murder, willful injury causing serious injury, going armed with intent, and conspiracy to commit forcible felony.
On October 26th, Dominguez allegedly stabbed Hunter Guyon, a 21-year-old Dubuquer, near 9th and Main Streets in the early morning. Traffic camera footage led to Dominguez’s arrest in Jo Daviess County.
Dominguez exited a vehicle and stabbed Guyon, who was walking with a group. Guyon sustained severe stab wounds to his abdomen.
Initially charged with Accessory After the Fact, Scott Wessels, Dominguez’s passenger, has now been charged with attempted murder, going armed with intent, willful injury, and conspiracy to commit a felony.
