A strong March storm system will move across the area late
Wednesday afternoon and evening. Much colder air moving in behind on strong winds will change the rain over to snow.
Some accumulation is possible, with the probabilities for
greater than 1 inch at 30 to 50 percent northwest of a Cedar
Rapids to Dubuque line. The strong winds occurring with falling snow could lead to periods of low visibility potentially impacting travel. Stay tuned if you have travel plans across.the area,and especially through northern Iowa and into Minnesota
