DES MOINES— Governor Kim Reynolds issued a proclamation to alleviate restrictions on the transportation of heating and motor fuels.

The proclamation takes effect immediately and will remain in place until 11:59 p.m. on February 6, 2025. It suspends the regulatory provisions of Iowa Code regarding the hours of service for crews and drivers delivering propane, diesel, natural gas, and other fuels used for residential, agricultural, and commercial heating purposes.
