Jamestown Township, Wisconsin – On December 27, 2024, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash on US Highway 151 in Jamestown Township. The incident occurred at approximately 2:54 PM.

Saikou Saidykahn, a 24-year-old resident of Platteville, was driving northbound on Highway 151 in his 2006 silver Ford Focus when the vehicle suddenly experienced a mechanical issue. This caused the car to abruptly veer to the right, entering a ditch where it became airborne and rolled multiple times. The vehicle eventually came to rest on its roof in a residential driveway and quickly became engulfed in flames.

Fortunately, Saidykahn was able to safely exit the vehicle and was uninjured. He was evaluated on the scene by EMS personnel and declined transport. The vehicle was declared a total loss.

The Grant County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Dickeyville Police Department, Dickeyville EMS, Jamestown Fire Department, Jamestown First Responders, and Automotion Towing of Kieler. Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
