On Tuesday, December 24, at approximately 11:50 a.m., the Dubuque Police Department responded to a report of a 16-year-old individual with outstanding warrants at the 800 block of Alpine Avenue. Upon contact with officers, the suspect fled on foot.
During the incident, the suspect brandished a knife. Two officers discharged their duty weapons in response.
Medical treatment was administered to the suspect, who was subsequently transported to the hospital for injuries to his arm and shoulder
